THE DOW AGROSCIENCES LONG LASTING CURATIVE AND PROTECTIVE ACTION AGAINIST POWDERY MILDEWS SYSTHANE 20 EW A systemic, protectant, and curative fungicide for use against plant diseases caused by Ascomycetes fungi ( powdery mildews, leaf spots, scabs, blotches) and Basidiomycetes fungi (rusts, smuts, root rots, stem rots) in vegetables, fruits, flowers and ornamentals.

Mode of Action Systemic fungicide with preventative and curative properties. Systhane 20EW is absorbed by leaves and stem and is transported upwards in The plant into areas of new growth via the xylem. As a sterol biosynthesis Inhibitor (SBI), it inhibits the biosynthesis of fungal sterols critical in the formation Of cell membranes in fungi. Absence of sterol production slows or stops the Growth of fungus, effectively preventing further infection or invasion of host Tissues.

Directions for use Mixing Half fill the spray tank with clean water and add the appropriate measure of systhane 20Ew, then fill up with the remaining water. Ensure thorough agitation on mixing and spraying.

Spray volume Spray in 800-1000litres of water per hectare

Timing of Application Repeat application as necessary at a spray interval of 7-14 days.
