MTAC Workgroup 97 Addressing Methodology Teleconference November 28, 2005
Attendees: Mabel Grein, Mike Murphy, Sharon Harrison, Jeff Stangle, Mike Winn, Jim Wilson, Ruth Jones, Wayne Orbke, Joe Lubenow, Laine Ropson, Pete Jacobson, Cindy Harrelson, Carole Kliewer, Jody Berenblatt, Chris Lien
Data Interchange discussion A clarification question was asked regarding the USPS recommendation for data interchange standardization. The clarification is that the USPS address products such as AEC, NCOALink, and the 99% move update approval should use a standardized approach. This may not necessarily be a granular element specification, but could rather be line length and number of lines rule. Jim Wilson agreed will come up with a list of composite product specifications and will work with Sharon Harrison to review and to begin building a “data dictionary”.
The balance of the teleconference consisted of going through the best practices document and assigning workgroup sponsors to finish the current practices and best practices sections for each item.
