Exit Specification Gas exported from the CATS Terminal is processed to meet the UK NTS entry specifications, complying with the Gas Safety Management Regulations. The liquid products (propane and butane and a C5+ stream) produced are commercial grade.

Details of Pipeline The CATS pipeline begins at a riser platform, in Block 10a, adjacent to the BP operated Everest gas field in the Central North Sea and transports wet gas 400 km (250 miles) to the CATS Processing Terminal in Teesside on the North East coast of the UK. For more information please see the CATS website: www.catspipeline.com

Details of Gas treatment facilities At the Terminal, following H2S and mercury removal and dehydration, Natural Gas Liquids (NGLs) are extracted and the gas is processed for delivery into the National Transmission System (NTS). For more information please see the CATS website: www.catspipeline.com

Gas Compression No compression facilities. System upgrade to add offshore compression at the Riser Platform is possible.

Dehydration The CATS terminal has gas dehydration facilities which reduce the water content to 2ppm.

H2S removal The CATS terminal reception facilities have H2S removal beds and CATS is able to provide an H2S removal service.

Other Info CATS is a third party system, with contractual flexibility to take third party gas into the system quickly and easily.

Commercially, CATS provides the service of accepting gas from field developments, transporting it to shore, conditioning and processing it into saleable gas and separating out the NGLs into commercial grade products, before redelivering the gas and products back to the Shipper in order for them to sell to their customers.
