2 Container Type Master Container type name and code Master Data->Cargo Master Entries DMDT Tariff presentation Check in advance Check Detention Group: The Detention Group is used to Port Code in DMDT Tariff Functions. If the agent has some ports, you don’t need to input all Port Code in in DMDT Tariff Functions. Detention Group is on behalf of all ports of the agent. Master Data -> Cargo Master Entries -> Port Query

Input KH% and press Find button . (% mean keywords) Find the Detention Group column. e.g. KHSPN detention group is on behalf of KHSIH port code and KHSPN port code. Port Free Days-New To define Basic Free Days / DEM/DET Type / Day Basis. DMDT calculation will concern the Free Days if you don’t apply extended Free Time(Customer Free Days Master (By Customer)).

Input Port and select BL Type, then press ENTER butoon. If you ever input data, it will show all data. Or it will show no data as the below. Input container type, dem/det type and select start from, day basis. Then input free days. Press ENTER button to jump next column. You should need to input all container types which all customers will use it. Press SAVE button to save data. Note that detent and demurrage are separate area. Container Type: all Container Type code refer to Master Data->Cargo Master Entries->Container Type Master. DET/DET Type: Separate or Combine. It will effect DMDT calculation to fetch EQC movement date. E.g. Export/Separate/Detention will fetch MS-FC. Export/Combine will fetch MS-LF. Charge Type: The system will show as per DET/DEM Type automatically. Export + Separate = show EDET of Detention area and EDEM of Detention area. Export + Combine = show Blank of Detention area and EDEM of Detention area. Import + Separate = show IDET of Detention area and IDEM of Detention area. Import + Combine = show IDET of Detention area and Blank of Detention area. If the charge type show Blank, you don’t need to input Start From / Day Basis / Free Days. Charge Validity: set effective date and expiry data. If the DMDT tariff don’t distinguish types, the others columns keep All value or DEFAULT value.(Owner Type/Service/OOG/DG/Imco Class/Reefer Status/Duty/Actual Service Type) Or you should input multi records on same Container Type. Copy From You can use Copy From option to copy data from the others. e.g. the below show KHSPN002/KHSPN/Export have no data, then input Port and BL Type. Press Fetch Data button, the system will copy data from KHSPN/Import to KHSPN/Export. When the copy is ok, you need to amend the data as your request.

Press SAVE button to save data. Shift + F5: copy value from the above field. Shift + F6: copy value from the above record(all fields). Remove button : delete the record. Movement Rate Master-Common To define DMDT tariff. DMDT calculation will concern the tariff if you don’t apply Customer Charge Rate(Movement Rate Master-Customer).

Input Port and select Charge Type then press ENTER butoon.(no need to select Transit Type) If you ever input data, it will show all data. Or it will show no data as the below. Export + Separate DET/DEM Type of Port Free Days-New maintain EDET/EDEM. Export + Combine DET/DEM Type of Port Free Days-New maintain EDEM only. Import + Separate DET/DEM Type of Port Free Days-New maintain IDEM/IDET. Import + Combine DET/DEM Type of Port Free Days-New maintain IDET only. Input Cont. type, slab days, slab order,currency, amount and valid from/valid to. Press ENTER button to jump next column. You should need to input all container types which all customers will use it. Press SAVE button to save data. Note that detent and demurrage are separate area. Container Type: all Container Type code refer to Master Data->Cargo Master Entries->Container Type Master. Slab Type: no need to select. Slab Days: chargeable day period. Slab Order: tariff tiers. Valid From and Valid To: set effective date and expiry data. e.g. the below case show after basic free days, should collect DMDT amounts. Slab Days=3 + Slab Order=1 -> tariff tier 1, first day to third day, collect USD 3. Slab Days=9999 + Slab Order=2 -> tariff tier 2, fourth day to thereafter, collect USD 6. Slab Days=9999 + Slab Order= -> only 1 tier, first day to thereafter, collect USD 6. If the DMDT tariff don’t distinguish types, the others columns keep All value or DEFAULT value.(Owner Type/Service/OOG/DG/Imco Class/Reefer Status/Duty/Actual Service Type) Or you should input multi records on same Container Type. Note: Movement Rate Master-Common can’t use Remove button to delete. But you can change Date to invalid the record as the first and second record. Country Holidays If Working Days Basis of Port Free Days-New, need to maintain holidays. DMDT calculation will concern the holidays to deduct container used days.

Input Port , Charge Type, Year then press ENTER butoon. If you ever input data, it will show all data. Or it will show no data as the below. Export + Separate DET/DEM Type of Port Free Days-New maintain EDET/EDEM. Export + Combine DET/DEM Type of Port Free Days-New maintain EDEM only. Import + Separate DET/DEM Type of Port Free Days-New maintain IDEM/IDET. Import + Combine DET/DEM Type of Port Free Days-New maintain IDET only. Select Week End as Saturday and then press Create Holiday button. The system will generate the date of Saturday of the year automatically. You can also select Sunday to generate the date of Sunday of the year automatically. If there is a specific holiday of the country, you can add the date by yourself. Press SAVE button to save data.
