VACANCY NOTICE

TITLE: Speech-Language Pathologist/Speech Therapist

LOCATION: BOCES wide

REPORTS: Coordinator of Speech and Itinerant Services

TERMS: 10 month, full time

QUALIFICATIONS: Certified or eligible to receive NYS Teacher Certification in Speech and Language Disabilities. Experience with school- based delivery of services to students with disabilities. Certificate of Clinical Competence for Speech-Language Pathologist (CCC-SLP) preferred.

RESPONSIBILITIES/ Selected candidate will provide individual and small group DUTIES: instruction to speech improvement caseload and students with disabilities, evaluations, development of IEP goals. Possible provision of “Under the Direction of” (UDO) support to component districts seeking Medicaid reimbursement for speech services.

SALARY/BENEFITS: Based upon degree and experience per BOCES Teachers’ Association (BTA)
