1. SITUATION a. Enemy: None Weather: Partly Cloudy H: 41, L:33 Sunset: 1936 Nautical Twilight: 2005 b. Friendly: Higher: ROTC

2. MISSION Maverick Battalion will conduct a Platoon Tactical Exercise Ambush on 26March2009 NLT 1800 to prepare MSIII’s for platoon missions at LDAC and to familiarize MSI’s and MSII’s with platoon operations.

3. EXECUTION a. Commanders Intent a.i. It is my intent that Platoon successfully maneuver to their objective. b. Concept of Operation b.i. CO. will form up at 1600 and take attendance. They will then split up into platoons and go on their individual Platoon STX missions. b.ii. Each lane will have their own Oporder prepared with correct grid coordinates. b.iii. Frago to be delivered before ORP.

Timeline c.i. 1500-Duty squad starts loading vehicles c.ii. 1515-Vans Leave for LTA c.iii. 1525-Lanes Set Up c.iv. 1550-Cadets Start Showing up c.v. 1600- Formation c.vi. 1605-Platoons Split to go individual Lanes c.vii. 1740- EndEx and AAR for lanes c.viii. 1750-Head Back for final formation c.ix. 1800-Dismissal c.x. Phase I: Lane Set-Up c.x.1. Lane walkers and OPFOR will assist in setting up lane OBJ’s NLT 1530. c.x.2. Radios will be given to Lane walkers and OPFOR. c.x.3. Lane walkers will be equipped with clipboards with blue cards, note sheet and LTA Map.

c.xi. Phase II Formation, Accountability, Movement to AA c.xi.1. Cadet’s will draw weapons and fall in NLT 1600. c.xi.2. CDT 1SG French will gain accountability. c.xi.3. CDT 1SG French will instruct the SL’s to prepare their squads for training and link up with their Lane Walker. Lane 1: Voelker & Johnson Lane 2: Hill & Barnes c.xi.4. CDT Leadership will then take charge of their squads and follow Lane walkers to their AA.

c.xii. Phase III STX Lanes c.xii.1. Each squad will arrive at their AA and MSIII assessment will begin. c.xii.2. Lane walkers will read OPORD to PL’s. From there evaluators will observe and assess their utilization of the TLP process and execution of the lane referencing provided grading material. c.xii.3. ENDEX will occur NLT 1735. c.xiii. Phase IV AAR, Counseling, Movement to Formation Area c.xiii.1. Upon ENDEX, Cadets will be instructed to remove Kevlar’s and re-hydrate. c.xiii.2. PL/APL will conduct Standard AAR; Lane walkers inform all cadets of how AAR’s are conducted at LDAC. c.xiii.3. OPFOR, Lane walker, and Cadre will give their AAR comments. c.xiii.4. Lane walker will write blue card and counsel the PL/ APL. c.xiii.5. Lane walkers and AI’s will instruct cadets to pick up OPFOR gear and will then counsel PL/APL c.xiii.6. Upon completion, all move back to the formation area. c.xiv. Phase V Final Formation and Dismissal c.xiv.1. Cadets will turn in rubber ducks and fall in for final formation. c.xiv.2. Announcements will be made. c.xiv.3. Cadets will be dismissed. d.
