Used in home economic classes, civics (as Street Law), and business law.
Brought up tax law debate and how it effects our schools. (Gray)
Discussed what is going on with our web stuff. (Booher)
Would like to see lists of FSS in TN and contacts for those schools on the web page. Would also like to see useful application links. Maybe have a most commonly asked questions for how to do things.

Kronick met with the people from Microsoft yesterday and their budget will be read next Monday (beginning of next fiscal year). We have added Inskip school in Knox County. Green is an unknown, since they have a new principal. We need to work on the new principal. Wants us to meet with the 9 Counties One Vision group in the Fall. The group is big on education. Microsoft is big on thinking regionally. The group could be beneficial for that region. The library could be set up in the College Of Nursing. Add Jane Quinn and Joy Dreyfus needs to be contacted about what we are doing. Is interested in what is going on at the McDonald's School. Maybe we could put some of the library on the web. (Gray) Or use the resources of Hodges Library
Gaylord told about the volunteer health services that serves a lot of the Knox County Schools. They receive very good ratings. They refer students without health coverage to TennCare.
The next meeting will be July 27, 2001 from 11:30-1:30 @ Ramsey's Cafeteria.
