Configuring Kaleel Order+ System for Dial-up
Use these directions if you have a dial-up Internet connection.
1. Print these instructions.
2. Set up your Kaleel Dial-in account: a. Click on Start Control Panel Network Connections b. Click on “Create a new connection”
c. Click on Next.
d. Click on Next.
Page 1 e. Choose “Set up my connection manually” and click Next.
f. Click Next.
g. Type in “Kaleel” and click Next.
Page 2 h. Type in the phone number (18775964295) and click Next.
i. Type in the userid and password. Username – guest Password – kbi must be lowercase Confirm password - kbi Uncheck the box – “Make this the default Internet connection Click on Next.
j. Click on Finish.
Page 3 3. Double-Click on the Order Plus+32 icon on your desktop.
4. Setup your customer id in the system: a. Click on Setup and then click on System Parameters.
b. The following window will appear. Type in the following information: Company Name – Your store name (optional) Laptop ID – Your Kaleel Brothers customer number. Your customer number can be found on the top right corner of your order guide. Password – A password is not needed on this screen. Click Apply. Hit Ok.
c. Contact Kaleel Brothers at 1-800-929-3663, ext. 229 to get set up in the on-line ordering system. Contact name is Jan Paxson.
Page 4 5. Once you are set up, click on CommsRequest Updates
a. The first time, you will get the following screen, Click on Yes.
------ORDER ------There are no modem profiles to browse. Would you like to create a new one? ------Yes No ------
b. Complete the screen as follows: Profile Name = Dial-Up TCP/IP address = 192.9.200.1 Login name = orders Password = orders Confirm password = orders Change the Buffer size to 512 Check the box titled “Use Dial-Up Connection”
Page 5 c. Click on the box titled “Select Dial-Up Connection”. Choose your newly created dial-up network connection (Kaleel).
d. Hit “Save as a new Profile”. Note: If an error is displayed (Missing TCP/IP Address), click on , then click on “Save as New Profile”.
6. Click on the new profile (Dial-Up) and click on the button “Select Profile”.
a. You will get the following screen. Click on the “New Databases” button. Click on OK.
b. You’ll go through the following screens:
