Field Marshal Responsibilities

Field Marshal Responsibilities Updated August 16, 2007  Print Game Rosters before games.  Place Corner Flags on field and pick them up.  Update the weather hotline if needed.  Players without passes are not allowed to play (Fall and Spring 11 x 11). Captain’s responsibility to have passes.  Arrive 30 minutes before first game.  Unlock goals and get the teams to move the goals in position so the games can start on time. Please do EVERYTHING in your power to get the games started on time.  For Men’s Open Games make sure the fans are on the opposite side of the field as the players.  Warn fans if they are disruptive and talk to the team’s captains to have fans warned/removed if warranted. A team that does not comply with your directive will forfeit the game.  At the end of games – Get the player passes back from the ref and give to team captain. Make sure that the Ref’s names are legible. Get Ref’s addresses if the league does not have them (Checks will now be mailed). Have the team captains sign the Game Reports!  Make sure the teams put back the goals/benches where they belong.  Lock the goals.  Loscoe – If problem with lights get the cop and make sure the breaker is turned on. Do not ever hit the off button as it takes significant time to warm up.  Input game scores etc into the system within 24 hours. (Same day if possible)  Within 24 hours of the game drop off game rosters or fax them to 772-382-2759 or scan and email to [email protected]  Within 24 hours or sooner if major incident write up a report of any issues of the day.
