Classroom Expectations: I expect all students to:  Come to class prepared with all required materials  Participate in class discussions, labs, and group activities  Properly take care of and use classroom materials  Ask questions  Follow all school rules

Homework: Homework will be assigned two or three times per week. The homework will be a review of material covered in class or completing the analysis and conclusion from lab activities. Late or incomplete homework will result in a reduced grade. Homework may at times be graded for accuracy. Students are expected to fill out agenda books daily with homework, test and project dates.

Makeup/Absence Work: Students are responsible for getting any work that they have missed, they will have to make up the work within the number of days absent, or it will result in a zero.

Grading: I use a total point system for evaluation. Points are given for homework, tests, quizzes, projects, labs, class participation.

Extra Credit: This is a standing assignment: News articles, science weekly magazine, learning aides.

Please have you and your child sign below that you have looked over the syllabus. This communication will be kept in their science notebook.
