On behalf of the Organizing Committee, I have the honor of welcoming you to the "Renal Artery Stenosis: joint meeting of Cardiology & Nephrology" to be held in collaboration with the Iranian Society of Nephrology.

Renal artery stenosis has long been known as a risk factor for refractory hypertension and progressive renal failure, yet years of extensive research have thus far failed to provide conclusive diagnostic and treatment modalities for this disease.

We are, therefore, determined to seek appropriate and workable solutions by drawing upon the expertise of the luminaries in the fields of nephrology and cardiology in our scientific gathering with a view to elevating the health of the renal patients in our country.
