Employee Self Service Forgotten Password Help

Instructions to assist users who forgot there ESS password:

Press the “Click Here If You Have Forgotten Your Password”

Enter your User ID – TS followed by your employee ID also know as your badge ID. Then press the “Continue” button.

You will then be asked to answer the default password hint we have setup for you, and then press the “Get New Password” button. You will then receive an email containing your new Password.

We ask that you create your own password hint when you go in to change the password you are about to receive.

HELP - I don’t have an email address at Tropical.

If you do not have an email address in the Tropical system (via Lotus Notes) and you do not know your User ID and/or Password:

Contact the Help Desk at ext. 3901, and request that your sign-on be reissued. Your sign-on information (user ID and password) may be sent to your personal email address or sent to your manager, if you prefer.

When you receive your user ID and password, please follow the instructions below:

1. Log into My Container via the www.tropicalshipping.com website. 2. Select “My Container” 3. Select “My User Profile” (on the left hand side of the page) 4. Select “Change My Password” 5. Sign on with your User ID and Password. 6. This will bring you to the page shown below where you will want to: a. Change your password to something that is meaningful to you. i. Passwords must be a minimum of 7 characters and must be alpha numeric. ii. Passwords will expire every 90 days. b. Change or set up forgotten password help. i. This is where you choose a question and response that you will use in the future if you forget your password. c. Change your default E-mail address to your personal E-mail address. 7. Press the SAVE button at the bottom of the page and you are all set.
