Cost is $13 admission for parents. Coaches should receive an email about the game. . The BBSL website lists a Spring Organizational Meeting at 7pm on Monday Feb 7. This is a mandatory meeting for all teams planning to play in the Spring BBSL League. NCSL – Wes Brubacher . Two changes were made to the NCSL policy concerning PCA training: 1) A coach who has attended Double Goal I and Double Goal II training has certification now good for four years and 2) PCA certification taken online is valid for only one season (only exception is coaches who took the Fall 2007 online training are grandfathered and allowed to retain their certification for one year). . NCSL voted to begin paying registrars. . Fees are due to NCSL by Jan 10. . Next BOD meeting is 1/10/08. WAGS – Joe Niemi (Bill Oosterink reporting) . Nothing new to report.  FUTSAL Ray Fairgrieve led a discussion on the status of Futsal. Futsal registration is closed and no longer taking registrations. Ray does not have division structures and schedules at tonight's meeting due to last minute registrations. The schedule will be released through demosphere and will start with December. The remainder of the schedule will be released at the end of December. Everyone must submit background investigation form. The form is located on-line. 39 teams are registered as of the meeting. Calvert and Waldorf are still interested is scheduling games with SMU Futsal. We are waiting to the release of the initial schedule before approaching the other clubs to schedule dates. Ray will attempt to schedule these games on weekends when the St. Mary's College gym is not available. Waldorf plays at the Capital Clubhouse and Calvert plays at Huntington and Northern High School. Most teams have made payments. All teams with outstanding balances must pay by the January SMU Board Mtg. In order to comply with Futsal requirements, all players should complete their registration on the US Futsal website by January. All players must have medical release forms. Players who are already playing soccer with SMU can use their medical release forms for outdoor soccer.

We are suppose to receive cards from US Futsal. To my knowledge, no one has received cards. Cards are required for entering Futsal tournaments. Futsal Cup, similar to MD State Cup, will be held in Waldorf this winter. SMU Futsal will vary some of the US Futsal rules. We will use a running clock with two 25 minute halves. Teams have one timeout per half. Continued with a general discussion of Futsal and some of the difficulties teams are having using the website.  Light Fee Collection All teams that practiced under the lights during the fall season were required to submit their fees by tonight's meeting. The fees were $15 per night.

3. Open Discussion  Introduction Earlier in the meeting, Ray Fairgrieve introduced Tim Stello. He played soccer at FSI and is now living in the area. He doesn't have time to coach, but would like to help out if any teams are interested. He plans to take the D license course this spring.  State Cup Registration Registration deadline is Jan 4. Ray will be involved in the State Cup draw, which will be held at the NSCAA Convention in Baltimore in January.  NSCAA Convention The 2008 NSCAA Convention will be held in Baltimore on January 17-19, 2008 at the Baltimore Convention Center.
