Electronic Devices
I will incorporate technology into our lessons and students are encouraged to bring their devices to class daily*. When we are not actively using technology, students are expected to park their devices in the designated holder. Students will have the opportunity to earn bonus points by checking their devices and cooperating with my cell phone policy. *Students who do not have access to personal electronic devices should discuss this with the teacher and I will work to accommodate them.
Tips for success and Extra Help To insure your success in math, you need to be in class, keep a positive attitude about your work, review your notes and complete your homework each night. PRACTICE, PRACTICE, PRACTICE! Pay close attention in class and ask for help as soon as you need it. Lessons build onto each other. If you miss important lesson it may create problems for your math success. I am happy to help you understand a concept if you need it. Please ask. Mrs. Brkic is available most B days before school from 8:15 to 8:50 a.m., after school I am available by appointment only. If you are planning on coming in the morning, please email me if possible just so I can confirm I am not in a meeting that day. Communication
Class syllabus is available on BRHS web site. On most days there will be printable homework and notes available for students and parents to see.
I use “remind” for occasional reminders of due dates and tests (this is meant to help, not to replace students’ responsibility to keep up with his/her assignments. Please feel free to check my site for more info if you would like to sign up for texts or emails as well.
I love Email! Send your questions / concerns / comments any time throughout the year at [email protected] Communication is very important to me.
