PTO Meeting May 17th, 2016 Call to order 6:34PM Attendees: Alyssa St Martin, Amy Ho, Katie Lee, Debbie Djukic Josie Koivisto, Josh Gregor, Ann Nimchuk, Loretta Gregory 12 parent attendees  Ann Nimchuk presenting African Drums and Gourds grand request o Motion to fund/vote--approved. Amount tabled for vote at end of meeting.  Loretta Gregory presenting an event option for consideration o Koo Koo Kanga Roo group o MN group on a website channel utilized by the classroom smart boards o Tabled for further research into expenses and timeline  Yearbook update—completed and in shipping  Apex Fun Run survey results o Very mixed results from parents and teachers o 92 parent responses o Voted to have another Apex event o Voted to postpone it until 2017-18 school year  End of Year budget expenses review and voting for expenditures o Votes approved expenditures as presented in table attached  PTO Board Nominations and Elections o Debbie Djukic and Katie Lee re-elected into Treasurer and Secretary respectively o Nominations and elections voted to be extended for President and Vice President roles via e-mail at a later date Adjourn 8:15PM
