WAYS YOU CAN HELP BEFORE THE SHOW Facebook: 1) "Like" Mark Wood, Laura Kaye, Elijah Wood (drummer) and Electrify Your Strings! on Facebook. 2) Post show information in a status update. Make your posts like they're genuinely coming from you so they don't seem "spammy." Make sure you "Like" Mark Wood, Laura Kaye, Elijah Wood (drummer), and the venue's Facebook page if they have one. Type the @ symbol for a dropdown menu where you can tag Mark, Laura, Elijah, and the venue. Your status update will then appear on your profile, Mark, Laura & Elijah's pages, and the venue's page. Sample status update: Excited to be performing with electric violinist @Mark Wood, singer @Laura Kaye, and @Elijah Wood (drummer) at @Bay Shore Senior High next Thursday! Make sure to mention "@markwoodmusic", "@laurakayemusic", and/or "@ewooddrummer" and "@venuename" if the venue has a Twitter account. Use http://bit.ly to shorten any links you want to include. Offline: Please print out our poster at http://www.electrifyyourstrings.com/images/EYS- concert-poster-2012-11x17.pdf on letter size paper (colored paper stands out best if you have some) and put it up in high traffic areas (foot traffic), community bulletin boards, stores, etc. (Just make sure you don't put it anywhere marked "Post No Bills" or equivalent.)

AT THE SHOW Facebook: Check in to the venue on Facebook Places. Be sure to write in the comments section that you're there to perform with Mark Wood, Laura Kaye, and Elijah Wood.

Foursquare: Check in to the venue on Foursquare. Be sure to write in the comments section that you're there to perform with Mark Wood, Laura Kaye, and Elijah Wood.

Photos: We love to see pictures from our performances! Whether it's a cell phone or SLR, please ask your friends and family to take pictures of the show.

Come by the signing booth after your performance and get your picture taken with Elijah!

We could also use one parent volunteer with an SLR to take high-quality pictures at the signing booth, add an EYS logo to each, email the photos to each student.

AFTER THE SHOW 1) Post any photos from the show on your and Electrify Your Strings's Facebook pages. Be sure to include show info and a description of the concert. 2) Post your favorite picture from the signing booth as your profile picture! Tag Mark, Laura, and/or Elijah as well as Electrify Your Strings! 3) Thank everyone who came with you to the show, and make sure they know where to go for the mailing list, music, and videos.
