The Year 3 Children Have Been Learning About

Year 3

Week Commencing – 23 rd January

The Year 3 children have been learning about:-

 Maths - Mrs Wood’s group have been working on ordering fractions.

Mrs Wilson’s group have been working on doubling and halving numbers up to 100, multiplyingand dividing by 3 and 4.

 English - We have been reading and discussing ‘The Wind in the Willows’. We have been creating drama freeze frames showing parts of the story. We have been reading and acting out play script versions of ‘The Wind in the Willows’.

 This week in Art we have been designing and making 3D clay tiles, showing river scenes.
