Summer Is Coming

SEAHAWKS SWIM TEAM REGISTRATION

It is that time of year again…time to register for Seahawks Swim Team! Swimming is excellent for conditioning athletes, teaching our children time management skills, self- discipline, and giving them the opportunity to set and reach individual goals.

This year we welcome our new head coach, Dave Schmitt. For the past several years Coach Dave has been the assistant coach for Haddon Townships Seahawks, and prior to coaching, even swam as a Seahawk himself. Coach Dave also coaches the HTHS Hawks swimteam, we are excited to have him as our coach. Returning to assist in coaching this year are Craig Greenberg and Andrew Geissler.

Swimmers ages 5 – 18 are eligible to sign up. Along with the competitive team a developmental program is offered for those who can swim a lap in any of the legal strokes. Developmental begins July 5th and helps to prepare the swimmer for competition. This program is for children who already know how to swim and focuses on correcting form, this is not for children who do not know how to swim.

REGISTRATION DATES: Please note that there will be NO walk-in registrations at the Township Municipal Building this year, all swimmers must be registered at one of the following:

Wednesday, April 14th - 6:00pm – 8:00pm, HTHS Cafeteria Saturday, April 17th – 9:00am – 12:00pm, HTHS Cafeteria

****PLEASE BRING 2 CHECKS TO REGISTRATION****

 One check to be made out to “Township of Haddon” for Swimteam fee of $75 per swimmer plus the Crystal Lake Pool Membership Fee for the swimmer(s) and at least one parent/guardian. Since you will be completing your Crystal Lake pool registration forms and receiving your pool tags at registration please be sure to bring proof of residency.  One check to be made out to “Seahawks Parents Association” for an activity fee, $10 per swimmer ($25 maximum per family).
