Indigenous Business Presentations

Programme: 7 December, PM&C and Dept of Finance co-hosted presentations by Indigenous businesses to Commonwealth officers and training for 10 Indigenous businesses

Indigenous business presentations On Monday 7 December, from 9:00 am – 1:30 pm the Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet (PM&C) and the Department of Finance will co-host presentations by 10 Indigenous businesses to Commonwealth officers.

 Each presentation by an Indigenous business (as below) will be 15 minutes in length.  The Indigenous business Waddi Springs will provide water and coffee on the day.  Morning tea will be provided from 10:10 am – 10:35 am.  A light lunch will be provided between 1:30 pm – 2:30 pm.

Training for Indigenous businesses Training for Indigenous businesses on: selling to the Commonwealth, the importance of AusTender, responding to Approaches to Markets and assistance available through Indigenous Business Australia (IBA) will be run in parallel to the training provided to Commonwealth officers from 2:30 pm – 4:30 pm.

Training for Commonwealth officers Training on the implementation of the Indigenous Procurement Policy (IPP) will be provided by PM&C and Department of Finance for Commonwealth officers only will follow the presentations from 2:30 pm – 4:30 pm.
