Town Historian, Carleton Mabee suggests looking through, Kenneth Hasbrouck’s, History of the Town of Gardiner (1978), available in the Gardiner Town hall. Mr. Mabee says that it “has some sections about the town as whole, other sections about particular neighborhoods. So it is convenient in it to find old names associated with the history of the town in general that could be used as street names anywhere in the town, and also to find old names associated with particular neighborhoods that could be used for locations in those neighborhoods.
