After visiting several website, reading original fairy tales, and completing the Fairy Tale Checklist, what conclusions can you draw about fairy tale stories, the patterns that they have, and their structure? ______In Process 2 you discovered what a fractured fairy tale was. Describe a fractured fairy tale. How did the points of view differ from the original? ______

Throughout Process 2 you reviewed five original tales and compared them to a fractured version. Pick one original tale and use the book Venn Diagram to compare it to the fractured version. Here is where you will compare and contrast the original fairy tale you picked to two fractured versions located in the school or classroom library. You may create a Venn Diagram in PowerPoint to add to your portfolio. If you wish to type your essay, you can delete the lines. Think about the points of view of all versions. ______Later in Process 2 you began creating your own fractured fairy tale from the original tale that you have chosen. This is the same tale that you just used to compare and contrast to two fractured versions. Think about who’s point of view you want to use to tell the story. Start a story map to develop your story skeleton. Those who want to be creative may choose to make PowerPoint slides to write their story with text boxes, add pictures from clip art and the internet, and/or hand draw pictures.
