The correct way of loading is for the waste inside not to exceed the top of the walls of the skip, particularly if the waste is predominately brick and rubble. For health and safety reasons, Thames Valley Hire Services Ltd reserve the right to “level” the waste on picking up the skip if it is deemed unsuitable for transit.

4. Please do not load the skip with ANY of the following: food waste, computer monitors, televisions, fluorescent tubes, full paint cans, aerosols, gas canisters, tyres, fridges or freezers, or plasterboard.

5. Asbestos – in any shape or form is illegal to load to skips! However we can recommend an expert Asbestos Removal company to quote for your requirements.

6. In no circumstances should a fire be started in a skip.

7. The skip must not be moved from the position on site agreed by the customer and the skip driver

8. Please ensure that the agreed position for the skip is clear of any obstruction.

9. In the unlikely event that the driver asks you for money or gives you an invoice, tell him that you have already booked and paid for the skip through Thames Valley Hire Services Ltd.
