For this assignment, you will be researching the existence of “Smart” technology in the 21st Century with a particular focus on the use of Smart Phones in our society. Your goal is to construct a five-paragraph essay in which you establish an argument either for or against the use of Smart Phones in our society.

 You will need to construct a thesis statement and support it with information from three sources. It is your responsibility to find these sources using appropriate online databases.

 You may NOT use Google or Wikipedia as a source! If Google or Wikipedia is used for this assignment, you will lose points on the overall grade.

 Access to reliable sources will be made available to you in the computer lab and from home using the username and password: hfclibrary.

 This paper is worth two test grades for the fourth marking period!
