Dear Team Titan Applicant,

Thank you for expressing interest in becoming part of Team Titan! The Outreach & Recruitment office is often the first stop for people interested in attending TCC. We primarily represent TCC at community events, in area schools/agencies and host visitors on campus from our diverse community. Team Titan volunteers can be called upon for various tasks that support our aim and mission in the Outreach & Recruitment office, including:  Campus Tours for Individuals and/or Groups  Sharing own experiences about being a successful college student on a Student Panel  Attending and supporting events both on- and off-campus  Representing TCC while having FUN!

What’s in it for YOU?  Gain resume-building experience, public speaking and presentation skills  Build relationships with staff and faculty that could potentially lead to letters of recommendation, employment/volunteer references, and more  Learn more about the enrollment, registration and transfer process for your own academic needs In order to apply to become a Team Titan volunteer, please complete and submit the following three (3) items: 1. Volunteer Application Form (signed) 2. Team Titan Expectations & Agreement (signed) 3. A copy of your Fall Class Schedule

For Fall 2015 complete application materials due to the TCC Outreach & Recruitment Office in Building 7, Room 225 no later than: Friday, October 23rd at 5pm (Space is limited, so turn in your application ASAP!)

Those selected to interview will be notified the following week. Outreach staff will make every effort to match applicant qualifications and availability to their volunteer assignment.  Return these forms (along with your Fall Quarter schedule) to the Outreach & Recruitment office, 7-225.

Signature Signature: Date: Team Titan Expectations & Agreements TCC Outreach agrees to:  Provide meaningful volunteer opportunities and opportunities for learning and growth.  Orient, train, and evaluate volunteers.  Provide knowledgeable supervisory personnel to oversee volunteers.  Provide a safe environment for volunteers.

As a volunteer, I agree to:  Attend regular training sessions so that I am prepared to represent TCC effectively.  Dress appropriately considering the nature of my assignment representing TCC.  Keep commitments regarding promptness, follow-through and courtesy.  Notify Outreach Staff in advance of possible absence.  Keep a record of hours and events worked to be submitted to Outreach Staff at the end of each calendar quarter.  Refrain from engaging in any religious, sectarian, or political activity or intrusion while participating as a volunteer or while on the TCC campus.  Comply with directions of assigned supervisory personnel and complete any forms or assignments as requested.  Where required, adhere to policies governing confidential records.  Adhere to TCC policies concerning its Drug and Alcohol Free Environment, Sexual Harassment and Non Discrimination, and Complaint Procedure.

Both Tacoma Community College and I understand that the volunteer relationship may be terminated at any time by either party. This is not an employment contract.
