Audition Format

Young Company Auditions

This year we will be holding a Company Audition, this is for anyone auditioning to be in the production, you will learn part of ‘NYC’ and will be asked to sing and learn some moves to go with it.

NB: important to note that you must attend this audition regardless of what part your going for, ensemble or principal, everyone in this show needs to be able to sing and dance. If your going for a principal you wont have to do the solo vocal audition as we will hear that in your principal audition.

I’m really looking for people to come ready to listen and throw themselves into what’s thrown their way. I’ll be asking a lot of you in terms of acting as well as the singing and dancing.

Audition Time

Saturday 3rd September: 09:30 – 10:00 – Arrival & Registration 10:00 – 13:00 – Young Company Audition Workshop

Young Company Audition Workshop

The young company workshop will comprise of a dance audition, that they will learn on the day of the audition. As well as this they will do some improvisation with the Director Chris Cuming.

They will be asked to sing ‘Maybe’ from the musical that you can find below to learn in advance of the audition. https://goo.gl/hjqe4e

Please come in clothes and shoes that you are able to dance in. You may also want to bring a bottle water for the day. Availability
