Schoolwires Photo Gallery
1. Once you have signed in to your Schoolwires page and are in the Site Manager, open a page to edit or create a new page for your Photo Gallery!
2. In your editing page, click on the Tools in the green header bar and select Photo Galleries.
3. Click OK to navigate away from the page. Click on New Photo Gallery. 4. Now you are ready to create the settings for your photo gallery. You must have a Gallery Name, the description is optional. (*Note: Once you modify the settings, you cannot change them.) After you have entered your information, click SAVE!
5. Now you will be returned to your photo gallery screen, where you will click on Photos to load your photos in. 6. You can click on Upload Photos to load one at a time, or if you have all of your photos saved into one folder, then click on Batch Upload Photos.
7. When the Batch Upload Photos dialog box comes up, click on Add File(s). You will browse to wherever you have saved your files (i.e., desktop, flash drive). 8. Once you have added your files, click on Upload File(s) , wait until it reaches 100% and then click Finish. 9. You can now adjust your photos for brightness/contrast, etc. By clicking on Adjust. If no changes are necessary, click on Publish Gallery.
10. Now you are ready to go back to your home page to include your brand new Photo Gallery! 11. Click on the page you want to edit (to insert your Photo Gallery) i.e., Photo Gallery Sample
12. Then click on the Insert Photo Gallery icon, (orange sunset slide) 13. The Photo Gallery Wizard will take you through the steps, but you should see the name of the gallery you just created (i.e., Technology Photos) and click on Insert Gallery.
14. Please note that the images will not be visible on your page until it is Saved! You will see a code similar to the one below do not be alarmed, once your page is Saved it will appear on the site. Just click on View Website in the upper left corner to see the photo gallery you have created! *Remember you can load in as many different photo galleries as you like, they are stored in a library and are not active until you publish and insert them into a page!
