Dear Parent/Guardian,

Red Noses We will be selling red noses from the office on Monday. They will be available to buy at break times only and cost £1.00. Earrings In our school Prospectus it states that the Local Authority is clear that pupils are not allowed to take part in PE sessions unless jewellery is removed. Please note that this applies to sporting clubs too, e.g. tennis, football and netball. The guidance does not allow exceptions to this, including applying tape over earrings. Our Prospectus 2016 is on the website – please see page 29. Letters/Events (Please see the school website for further information) Year 3 - Keep on Reading Please return books by Monday 27th March 2017 Year 4 Production tickets – Tuesday 28th and Wednesday 29th March 2017 Clubs Tuesday Football Club – Due to a tournament taking place this club will be cancelled on Tuesday 21st March. Tennis – Please contact [email protected] if your child is interested in attending tennis camp during the Easter holidays. Assemblies Assemblies start at 9.00 a.m. and last around half an hour, including time for a cup of tea or coffee. 3W – Friday 31st March Parent Lunches Please arrive at reception by 12.10pm. Both parents and children are to order school dinners please. 4E – Thursday 16th March – We can no longer take any more orders. 5W – Thursday 23rd March – We can no longer take any more orders. 5F – Thursday 30th March – Parent orders and payments must be in by Thursday 16th March. Headteacher’s Award There are two awards this week. Congratulations to Alfie Baker (3W) who gets an award for ‘showing support and kindness to other children during Forest School sessions’ and to Ananyinwa Bajeh (6F) for ‘setting a good example around the school and being kind and helpful to others’. Well done to both the boys. Achievements Congratulations to the following children: Joshua Woolerton (3W) achieved his stage 3 in swimming this week. Owen Page (5F) got the overall silver medal for vault, floor and rings at his gymnastics competition last weekend. Enjoy your weekend.
