Beginning and Intermediate Watercolor Instructor – Susan Schneider Class Supply List

1. Pad of watercolor paper 140lb size 9x12 or 11x15

2. Brown sketch board 15 x 16. Can be found at Artist and Craftsman in the U district at 8th and 43rd. show registration page for 10% discount.

3. Paints: either Prang set or tubes Winsor & Newton Cotman or Van Gogh: Colors: Aureolin (transparent), Cadmium Yellow, Orange, Cadmium Red, Alizarin Crimson, Ultramarine Blue, Phtholo Blue (called Winsor Blue if buying Winsor & Newton tube)

4. Brushes: Princeton brush company or Robert Simon or Da Vinci. Round size #8 and 1" flat brush.

5. Other materials: small batch of q-tips, piece of whte candle, old toothbrush, small se sponge, pencils (hb),grey kneaded eraser, masking tape, paper for notes, sea salt or kosher salt (not regular), a flat razor blade

6. Please bring a fold-up rectangular plastic palette.

Optional: watercolor pencils, watercolor crayons, Pitt Pentell waterproof pens in black or brown.

Provided: water containers and paper towels.
