Final Log Review Information

Final log review information.

It is of upmost importance to provide our clients quality and consistency in the product we provide. Standardizing the way our log headers appear is just one step in this effort.

Follow the bullet points listed below when reviewing your log for final submission. Please do not send final log in without performing this review. It will be assumed that any logs received as “Final Log” will have had bulleted items double checked and ready for printing, and distribution on DVD.

If not already provided with well information, locate the submitted permit for your well at the following websites:

Oklahoma locations: http://imaging.occeweb.com/imaging/OGWellRecords.aspx

Texas locations: http://gis2.rrc.state.tx.us/public/startit.htm

Using information obtained from the permit will ensure that the information on our mud log reflects the data that was submitted and recorded with the appropriate commission.

Pay particular attention to Spelling/Spacing/commas/footage markers. Attention to such details ensures a professional and consistent mud log to our customers.

The following Header information must be checked for accuracy prior to sending in your final log. Remember that there are two headers for horizontal wells. The main header and the TVD Header must be reviewed and checked.
