Saturday, May 15th, 2010 Event is Weather-permitting! Time: 8-10 p.m. @ Washington Elementary School, off Alameda on SE 48th Main Event: See Three Planets in the sky! Solar & Lunar Viewing & Kinesthetic Astronomy! Spring Constellations & Deep Sky Objects Join us for “Legends of the Spring Sky and then some…”, How to Use a Planisphere, Telescope Viewing of the Night Sky…. Come join in the fun and dress up as your favorite Celestial Object, Character, Legend, or Constellation!!!! Students, Faculty, and Amateur Astronomers from local clubs will be available to give tours of the Spring Sky Constellations & Planets! *Children MUST be accompanied by a parent!
