1 [727-1] 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 A BILL 10 11 TO AMEND SECTION 7-7-280, AS AMENDED, CODE OF 12 LAWS OF SOUTH CAROLINA, 1976, RELATING TO 13 VOTING PRECINCTS IN GREENVILLE COUNTY, SO AS TO 14 REDESIGNATE THE NEW PRECINCTS, PROVIDE THAT 15 PRECINCTS ARE AS SHOWN ON AN OFFICIAL MAP ON 16 FILE WITH THE DIVISION OF RESEARCH AND 17 STATISTICAL SERVICES OF THE STATE BUDGET AND 18 CONTROL BOARD. 19 20 Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South 21 Carolina: 22 23 SECTION 1. Section 7-7-280 of the 1976 Code, as last amended 24 by Act 271 of 2000, is further amended to read: 25 26 “Section 7-7-280. 1 [727] 4 1 Westcliffe 1 Westcliffe Elem School 2 Westcliffe 2 Westcliffe Elem School 3 Westside John Calvin Presby Ch 4 Woodlawn Wade Hampton High Sch 5 (B) The precinct lines defining the precincts in subsection (A) 6 are as shown on maps filed with the Greenville County Board of 7 Voter Registration and also on file with the State Election 8 Commission as provided and maintained by the Division Office of 9 Research and Statistical Services of the State Budget and Control 10 Board designated as document P-4592 P - 45 - 01. 11 (C) Beginning January 1, 2001, the polling places for the 12 precincts provided in subsection (A) must be established by the 13 Greenville County Board of Voter Registration and the Greenville 14 County Election Commission with the approval of a majority of 15 the members of the Greenville County Legislative Delegation.” 16 17 SECTION 2.
