The FRCC Bulk Electric System (BES) Definition Clarification Task Force (TF) in response to the comments received during the initial (Version 1) posting period has developed Version 2 of the FRCC Bulk Electric System (BES) foundation document (definition) and Supporting Appendices. The FRCC BES Definition Clarification TF is seeking comments on Version 2 of the FRCC Regional Bulk Electric System Definition and Supporting Appendices.

7. The FRCC BES Definition Clarification TF revised the Effective Dates of each document in response to comments submitted by industry stakeholders. The revised Effective Dates are as follows:

FRCC BES Definition, Appendix A: Clarification to the FRCC Bulk Electric System (BES) Definition for Radial Transmission Elements or Systems Exclusion, and Appendix C: Adverse Reliability Impact Study Requirements: 1st day of the 3rd calendar quarter following regulatory approval.

Appendix B: FRCCFRCC regional application of the term “transmission Protection Systems”: 1st day of the 7th calendar quarter following regulatory approval.
