Part 2 – Products 2.3 Panel Components Floor Panels: A. The air sealing grommet shall have the following features: A.1. Integral design for mounting in the floor tile A.2. Not require the removal of existing cables or the floor panel for installation A.3. Be circular in shape, for installation in a 5” round cutout B. The air sealing grommet shall be available in the following sizes: B.1. 6.50”x1.81” Overall B.2. 0.31” High installed B.3. 5” Round cutout size B.4. 12.5 square inches of usable penetration area C. The 6.50” overall diameter cutout size sealing surface of the air sealing grommet shall have the following configuration: C.1. The sealing system shall be of a hybrid brush technology configuration C.2. Constructed of a single layer of nylon filaments C.3. Filaments shall be Type 6 Nylon C.4. The second sealing layer shall be of a thermoplastic elastomer. D. Grommet frame shall be made of textured black ABS UL 940 rated E. The air sealing grommet shall be mounted in the following manner: E.1. 4 self tapping screws
