Morning Announcements September 15, 2015

 Yearbooks are on sale in Mrs. Robin Smith’s room (room 239). The price is $50.00.

 Attention Seniors: The deadline for senior ads as well as baby pictures for the yearbook is October 2nd

 Any high achieving student in grades 9-11 wishing to apply for Early Graduation for this school year, today is the deadline to submit applications.

 Pictures for underclassmen are available for proofing and purchasing on Kellie Carter’s website at proofing.kelliecarter.com or visit the High School webpage for a link.

 FCA T-Shirts are on sale in Mrs. Nikki Criswell’s room. Short sleeve shirts are $12.00 and 3 quarter length sleeve shirts are $18.00.

 Cardinal Security Bank is having open house Friday, September 18th. It will be located in room 240 during 4th and 5th blocks. Stop by for free food and door prizes.

 HOSA Dues and t-shirt orders are due to Mrs. Neal at the ATC tomorrow.

 Attention SENIORS—Permission slips for the Regional College Fair should be signed by your parent/guardian and returned to the guidance office before Friday, September 18th. This will determine the number of buses we are taking.

 Students who would like to take the ACT test @ WCHS on Saturday, October 24th must register online by September 18th. Stop by the guidance office for more information.

 Any junior planning to apply for the Governor’s Scholars Program this fall must have an ACT score. If you haven’t taken the ACT test, we highly recommend that you take it in October.

 Relay for Life Club dues need to be paid to Mrs. Smith by September 30th.

 On Thursday, September 24th, Audrey Fowler, our KHEAA Outreach Counselor, will be in the WCHS Media Center from 6-7 PM to meet with seniors and their parents to discuss the upcoming college fair, the college admissions process, and paying for college.

 Seniors who would like to apply for the 2015 U.S. Presidential Scholars Program must submit their applications to the guidance office by Thursday, Sept. 17th. This is not a scholarship; however, students who are chosen as U.S. Presidential Scholars do win a trip to Washington DC where they will receive the Presidential Scholars Medallion.
