Overall Average – 183p/kg Cows averaged 120p topping at 144p for Angus from C J Wells with £1057 for R J Potter’s Hereford Cow. Plain Friesians well sold between 90p and £1. Another pleasing entry sold to similar trade to last week and up on the previous Overage steers saw British Blue from Mr Foote to £1225 (149p) and £1188 days trading by some 4 – 5p/kg compared to many other local markets. The (149p) for Angus. Overage Saler from J C Leaver & Son sold to a top of 164p best export type lambs traded between 190 – 200p/kg topping at 213p/kg £83 £1161. for 38½kg from Mr C Benson. The general run of lambs traded between 175 – 185p/kg with only a few of the plainer or very loose coated lambs under these figures.
