Speaking about the modern Dobermans, we can't help mentioning the name of the famous breeder Gabriele Prosperi, who thanks to his experience and great passion today has already left his trace in the kynological world. It was not an easy deal, but he succeeded!!! His activity started in the 70-ths, when together with his wife he obtained his first Doberman called Boy Diamond. It was a beautiful black and tan male. When the puppy was five months old, he got the bilateral inflammation of the underjaw. Many people said, that this "ugly dog" had to be put down. "But the love, which my wife felt to this dog, was so deep, that couldn't stop us , and after the countless number of consultations with the specialists, after the treatment, which lasted many months, he recovered at last. It was a real miracle for us! May be because of the prank, maybe because we wanted to prove something to those, who considered our efforts as useless, we even decided to take part inthe International Dogshow in Verona and suddenly got there the third place; then there was the second place in Vareze. In Vercelli it was really a fantastic event. We got the "Best of Breed" title and saw that the gaits of success were opened to us! Nothing could stop us! We were winning everywhere: from the small shows to the great ones. We were full of enthusiasm and simply stunned by the success. It seemed, that Boy Diamond wanted to thank us for his saved life and our faith in him. He really brought us the great joy, and we decided to find him the girlfriend to play with. So that was the way Cajenna Di Villa Castelli came to our home.

The real success came to us in 1978 in Essen - Germany - at the Bundessieger, where we decided to take part. This was the real triumph: Diamond was second in the champion class and got the corresponding title, and Cajenna got the Bundesjugendsiegerin title.

Kennel "di Campovalano" was just arising, but its name already sounded on the european rings! The foundation bitch of the kennel - Cajenna was bred to her litter-brother Cito and gave worth of attention litter: Enter, Essen, Eclatant and Elit - splendid bitch, which later in Holland was bred to Egor v.d. Eland. Vita and Vera were born. The last one was bred to Arrow v. Harro's Berg. Two beautiful puppies were born: Faltore and Flou. Out of Vita and Bjorn v. Stockenbrand were born Zardog, Zoe and Zuma.

The first "E"-litter in "di Campovalano" kennel became famous mostly thanks to the only male -Elisir di Campovalano. It was the dog of the high class and excellent conformation, with the most typical signs of the breed and peerless psychico-morphological characteristics. Among his titles are:

Bundessieger, AlAD-champion, International champion, champion among the stud males, Schh-' III and ZTP. Elisir is recognized as one of the best producers in Europe; He gave great descendants. Among his numerous litters the most famous was the litter out of Favorit del Verdiano, which gave | Lira, Linz, Lanser, Lamiel and Lema - the dog with | the most typical sexual characteristics and the

same exciting breed qualities as her father had: beautiful head and very harmonious body. Lema became 2xIDC-Sg, Italian and International Champion, AlAD-Sg, she passed SchH III and ZTP. The peerless pearl had bright conformation and excellent temperament.

But the Doberman of contemporary is Gamon (Graaf Quirinus v. Neerlands Stam - Mali di Campovalano). The male of unchallengeable beauty had conquered all the Italian and foreign rings, got the whole collection of prices, trophies and titles. Among his titles there are Italian Champion, the Champion of Monaco, the Champion of Austria, International Champion, DV-Sg'95, World Champion (IDC'89) and the best among the stud males (IDC).
