Public Comment: Daren Woolsey – Emery Telcom representative – There is challenges in servicing the phone line for Hanksville area Emery Telcom has done some improvements through the years and have not increased the rates for over 22 years. They are trying to get fiber optic to Hanksville but because of the low number of users the cost is high and they can’t justify the cost and the other sources of funding also look at the low number of users. They had decided that there will be a rate increase as of July 2016 on the base telephone service.
