ACCESS CONTROL READERS

PART 2 - PRODUCTS

2.01GENERAL A. The Access Control Readers shall provide a reader interface for low power, multi-format, ruggedized, indoor/outdoor, high performance access control. They shall be capable of supporting variable bit patterns in Wiegand or clock and data, making them compatible with a wide range of access control panels. B. The Access Control Readers shall also feature bi-color visual indicators and variable annunciation. They shall also be suitable for a broad range of environments. All signal lines shall be protected from Electrostatic Discharge (ESD). C. The Access Control Readers shall offers a basic magnetic card stripe interface, accepting low or high-coercivity magnetic stripe cards with standard track 2 encoding. Track1 and track 3 versions shall also be available.
