AMBASSADORS The following events are now available to sign up for in Mr. Gault's office... Junior Ring Mass on Wednesday, April 19th Class of 2021 Night on Tuesday, May 9th Spring Concert/ Fine Arts Festival on Tuesday, May 16th Graduation on Friday, June 9th

BROADWAY TRIP There will be a trip to New York to see Phantom of the Opera on May 4th. This trip is open to any music classes, as well as 2nd, 3rd and 4th year language students. The cost is $70 for the bus and show. Bus will leave Roman at 7:30AM and return back at 7PM. Lunch is on your own in Little Italy. The deadline for the money is today, April 6th. See Ms. Keenan with any questions and to get a permission form.

CHESS CLUB Will meet in the library today after school.

COMPUTER SALE! Attention all Students: With our recent upgrade to the computer lab, we are able to offer our old computers at the bargain price of $50. This includes the Computer, monitor, keyboard and mouse. The Specs for Computers are as follows: Computer model: Dell OptiPlex GX 520 -- Processor: Intel Pentium (R) -- RAM: 1.5GB. Hard Drive: 80G -- CD player: DVD Drive -- Operating System: Windows XP. Available software: Microsoft Office Word 2010, Excel 2010 and Power Point 2010. There is a limited number available. Computers will be offered on a first-come, first-serve basis. If interested, please see Father Bongard. Going quick--Only a couple left CSC Attention all CSC members. Do you know what time it is? It is time for a meeting! We will be having a meeting on Friday, April 7th to talk about community service opportunities and activities for the end of the year. Please make sure to stop by! The meeting should only last about 20 minutes in Room 12! See you on Friday!

GUIDANCE Attention Juniors! Remember to bring your Guidance contract, found in your junior folder, to the Guidance Office.

The following jobs are available for Juniors and Seniors 1. Part time position at Modell's in Center City 2. Cafe in Center City for 3 to 4 days per week until 5:00 pm. 3. Law Firm on the Parkway for 5 days a week until 5:00 pm. Please see Sr. Jane in the Guidance Office for more information as soon as possible

GYM The gym will be off limits the entire day today and the morning of Friday in order for new lighting to be installed.

JUNIOR RING MASS AND PROM INFORMATION Information for both the Junior Ring Mass (April 19th) and Junior Prom (April 21st) have been distributed and explained to the Juniors in their homerooms. This information has also been emailed to Junior parents. Please review this information carefully and if you have any questions, please see Mr. DiMartino or Mrs. Brown in the Student Affairs Office.

JUNIOR PROM TICKETS Junior Prom tickets are presently available for sale. As soon as students have completed their Junior Prom Permission Form, they are to bring it to the Student Affairs Office for approval. Once approved, they can bring it to the Financial Affairs Office to purchase their tickets. A reminder that all tuition and fees must be up to date before a prom ticket can be purchased.

Any junior who has already purchased a ticket for the junior Prom, may see Mrs. Smith in Room 44 to select a table. You must have your ticket with you and you may not select a seat for someone else!

LENTEN ALMSGIVING During the season of Lent, students at RCHS will have two opportunities to help those less fortunate than we are. The Catholic School Students for Catholic Charities Appeal is a collection that will be taken during Lent to benefit the Archdiocese of Philadelphia Schools of Special Education. Details will be given in Theology Classes.

Jr. AOH/CSC will sponsor a Lenten Food Drive. Students are asked to bring canned goods and non-perishable items to either the Student Affairs Office or Student Services Office. Please remember to include your name and homeroom when you drop off these items. The homeroom with the most donated canned goods/non-perishable items will receive a prize. Food items will be donated to St. Francis Inn and St. John’s Hospice. Please be as generous as you can with these above initiatives.

NHS Tutoring is held every day before school and during lunch periods outside of the library. If you need assistance please see one of the NHS students.

SADD SADD will hold its general membership meeting after school today in Rm. 38. Our guest speaker will be Mr. Sean Dugan who will discuss the dangers of drugs and alcohol. All are invited to this meeting – but watch out –you may learn something!!!

SCHOOL MINISTRY Mass will be offered during 5th period today.

ATTENTION SENIORS Just a reminder that permission forms for the Senior Retreat are due tomorrow Friday, April 7. Students who cannot attend must see Father Check.

ATTENTION JUNIORS April 19, 2017 will be your Ring Mass at the Cathedral Basilica. If you are interested in helping as an Altar Server, Reader or in some other way, please see Father Check to sign up.

SCHOOL STORE Attention Seniors – The official Senior Class of 2017 t-shirts order form was given out in homeroom. Order form & payment must be returned to the school store no later than April 21st. A copy of this order form will be sent to your email. Any questions please see Ms. Donna or Ms. Sabrina in the school store.

SPEAK UP! Any student who attended Speak Up! On March 7th and would like community service hours should see Mr. McAndrew in Room 46 before homeroom with a community service form.

ATHLETICS FOOTBALL The money for the Soul game is due into Coach Murphy today.

TENNIS Roman won their third straight PCL match yesterday by defeating Lansdale Catholic 4-1. Roman winners were Patrick Phang and Shea Bulna in singles and the doubles teams of Malik Joynes, Adam Moskal, and Matt Bolden, Jon Aner. Roman travels to Judge on Friday and hosts LaSalle next Tuesday. WRESTLING Reminder: weight training for wrestling takes place on Tuesdays at 4:15 PM, Wednesdays at 3:00 PM and Thursdays at 4:15 PM. Unless you are competing in a Spring Sport you’re expected to be there.
