RECOUP Neuromusculoskeletal Rehabilitation Centre has a 50 bedded hospital in Bangalore and 16 clinics across India, specialising in Ergonomics, Occupational Health and Rehabilitation of Repetitive Strain Injury (RSI), other Musculoskeletal Disorders (MSD), and neurological conditions using a multidisciplinary approach. WORK RESPONSIBILITIES AND PROFESSIONAL ACHIEVEMENTS 1. Winner of the 2nd Henri Bensahel Award for Best Research Paper in Paediatric Orthopaedics at the 33rd Orthopaedic World Conference, at Dubai, United Arab Emirates (November 28-30, 2012) for the following paper: Deepak Sharan, Ajeesh Sasidharan, Rameshkumar Ranganathan, Jeena Jose. Functional outcome of a new single event multilevel lever arm restoration and anti spasticity surgery for cerebral palsy. 2. Trained and guided more than 2000 Physiotherapists and other rehabilitation professionals in Ergonomic Workplace Analysis (EWA) and in RECOUP’s own internationally acclaimed treatment approach for musculoskeletal disorders (MSD): SHARAN'S Protocol (Skilled Hands-on Approach for Release of myofascia, Neural and Soft-tissue mobilization). 3.
