1. Students will have identified “celebrities” who try to return from their abundance (received-richness) 2. Students will have discussed and shared real people’s actions and real existing charities- organizations 3. Students will have researched (web-magazines-newspapers) and given a summary-result 4. Students will have found different Charitable Organizations, chosen one and explained goals etc 5. Students will have expressed and articulated their understanding (from each individual chosen) 6. Students will have interacted and helped each other to choose relevant information 7. Students will have listened to all classmates presentations –taking notes- 8. Students will prove that they have gained from the experience (activity) by their personal reflection 9. Students will have made their personal Mission Statement (re the subject approached with celebrities compared to the same subject approached by them as the person involved in a community)-PERSONAL ACTION IN GIVING BACK TO SOCIETY-OTHERS- SHARING- 10. Students will gain insight into the real Presence of Jesus in their lives and the life of others How? (sequence of learning activities)

Teacher will divide with class’s help-input (chart paper-blackboard) celebrities in categories such as:

CINEMA (actors-actresses), MUSIC (singers, performers- musicians, composers…) SPORTS (professional players, Olympians, coaches…), WRITERS (authors of books-films scripts) PAINTERS (actual living artists in the world), DANCERS (ballet etc),

*** Students will be asked to sign up in a category (4-6 max)- all categories to be filled-Assessment-

1. 1. Group work: discussion lead by one student in each group of 4-5-6 2. 2. Each group will designate a note-taker (secretary) 3. 3. Time up: each group to report on their exchange of information 4. 4. Class will be asked to go to the Computer Lab the next day 5. 6. Teacher will supply an OUTLINE: PROJECT IN PAIRS (sign-up) – Assessment- 7. 8. 1. Research done by Charitable Organizations and by Celebrities’ names 9. 2. Students must collect info, notes to write a: a) Biography of the person b) Resume of info concerning the Charitable Organization-goals, concrete actions etc

Research will turn to the Bible and the Beatitudes- Assessment-
