This manual is provided to help in the event of a disaster. It is designed to contain information regarding the service and facilities supplied by ICM Business Continuity Services Ltd via Brackmills Industrial Estate Business Improvement District that may be used during rehearsal or invocation of your own internal Business Continuity plans.

Before Invoking the Business Continuity Service

Before you Invoke you should try to make sure that you have all the information you need to hand:

 You should be prepared to describe the problem.  Identify what support you require from ICM.

How to Invoke the Business Continuity Service

If you believe that there is a disaster and the decision has been made to invoke then you should follow the procedure below:

1. Dial the ICM Business Continuity Services hotline number:- 0800 622368 Note: This hotline number is manned 24 hours per day 365 days per year by ICM’s own call centre staff.

2. Inform the operator:

a) "I wish to invoke my Business Continuity Agreement" b) Give your name c) Give your company name and Contract or Client Number d) Telephone number at which you can be contacted e) Give the nature of the disaster, and as much information as possible as to the extent of damage to your systems

What happens next can vary dependant upon the timing of the call. See the following:

3. During working hours, the call will transfer you directly to the ICM Business Continuity Operations team. Please quote the reference number DR3606, and mention that you are calling from Brackmills Industrial Estate Limited.

4. Outside of working hours, the operator will reconfirm your details and contact number you should then ensure you properly replace the receiver when finishing the call and keep the line free. They will they contact the out of hours ICM engineer and pass on your details. Stay by the telephone and within 15 minutes an ICM Business Continuity Services representative will call you back.

5. ICM Business Continuity Services will then speak to an authorised person from the Business Improvement District (See Emergency contacts in BIEL Business Continuity Plan, to confirm the call is genuine and the invocation should be allowed.

5. Follow your own procedures and guidelines regarding a disaster, which should include as an immediate requirement, the need to arrange with any third-parties, if relevant, to deliver backups etc. to the Business Continuity site.
