Title: Overview of the eFiling Process through Aatrix®

Question: What is eFiling by Aatrix?

Answer: eFiling by Aatrix® is the process of electronically submitting your W2 and 1099 Tax information to Federal and/or State authorities. It is handled in Sage Fund Accounting through integration with Aatrix®. The price depends on the filing you are doing and how many records you are filing. The current pricing is as follows:

1099 Federal Filing Free 1099 State Filing $.69/Vendor with a $24.95 minimum charge

W2 Federal Filing Free W2 State Filing $.69/Employee with a $24.95 minimum charge W2 Local Filing $.69/Employee in addition to other charges

For both 1099’s and W2’s there is a complete filing solution. Aatrix® will do your Federal and State filing as well as print and mail your 1099’s/W2’s. The cost of this is $1.79 per employee/vendor. If you complete your filing before Jan 15th 2012 the cost is $1.64 per employee/vendor. In either case, there is a $24.95 minimum charge.

Question: How does it work?

Answer: To eFile, you will need to launch Aatrix® from within Sage Fund Accounting. Then go through a check and verification process to make sure all your information is correct. After the verification process is complete, you can select the type of e-Filing you want to do. You will need to provide some information and at the end of the process you will be prompted to log into the secure Aatrix® website. Page 1 of 7 Question: Do I have to have an account set up with Aatrix® in order to eFile?

Answer: Yes. Before you can complete the eFiling process, you must have an account with Aatrix®. If you have never set up an account before, there are several ways to do this.

In Payroll, select Activities>Tax Reporting>eFiling and Electronic Payments by Aatrix® or go to https://efile.aatrix.com/.

If you have already begun your eFiling process, you can click on the Forgot Login

After that Click Enroll

Page 2 of 7 When you get to the enrollment site it will take you through the account creation process.

IMPORTANT After you have enrolled you MUST print out and fax an authorization form to Aatrix®. There is a link for this form in your company information.

Page 3 of 7 After your account has been set up, and after you log in, you will have a chance to verify your enrollment information.

The next step will confirm the charges (if any).

Then you will choose when you want Aatrix® to actually submit your filing to the federal government. It is strongly recommend you accept the default (just before it is due) to allow for corrections to any mistakes you discover.

After you click submit your filing will be uploaded to the Aatrix® eFile server. The next screen will give you the confirmation.

Page 5 of 7 The Confirmation number is very important and you should write it down. If you have any issues with your filing and need to contact Aatrix® you will need your confirmation number.

In addition to this notification you should receive an email confirmation at the email address listed.

Also, you can log on to https://efile.aatrix.com And click the “Filings” link to look at the status of your filing
