Monday Objective: Students will be able to use social courtesies to introduce each other. Topic Specific Vocabulary: names. introduce Grammatical Forms: Auxiliary verbs, subject pronouns, possessive pronouns Prompts: Introduce yourself and a friend Responses: I would like… I would like you to meet… She is…
I do it: Teacher will role play social courtesies by introducing a “new” student. (Bring your dress up box!)
We do it: Partner activity – Students will introduce their partner (Pg 7, Moving into English, blue)
You do it: Students will read greetings (farewells, g 9), cut them out and put them in order.
Tuesday Objective: Students will be able to ask a question to seek personal information. Topic Specific Vocabulary: Questions words Grammatical Forms: Formulating Questions Prompts: Find out about your neighbor Responses: Pg. 3B.17, pattern for student discussion
