GRADUATION PROJECTS

Bachelor: A full electrical design of a commercial and residential area that contains residential buildings, villas, mall, school, administration buildings, street lighting. (Low and Medium voltage)

Master: Assessment of permanent magnet generators for small-scale wind power applications. (An analytical approach for the surface- mounted and interior permanent magnet AC generator was conducted to calculate the generated voltage and relevant mechanical speed. The analysis shows that using permanent magnets for the AC generator provides superior performance characteristics as compared to existing equivalent induction generators. Specifically, the magnetic loading of the machine increases when different types of magnets are used for field excitation. Then we presented an optimization of the design with different rotor topologies. This enhanced performance is translated into a drop in the wind speed requirements. The obtained results showed that, when using permanent magnet generators, wind power would be applicable for wider territories with lower average wind speeds; thus, increasing its market penetration rate.) PROJECTS Below are some of the projects achieved during my university studies: - Mini PLC project: DOL starter, delta star starting, speed control of motors…

- Power and Control board of a football play ground.

- Hybrid Electric Vehicle: Operation and circuit elaborated on “Simulink”.

- Wind Energy with Hydro Storage Element Project: Operation and Planning.
