What do these names have in common? Jackie "The Joke Man" Martling, Jim Florentine, Rev. Bob Levy, Bobby Collins, Bob Nelson, Joey Kola, Rich Vos, Uncle Floyd & Dr. Dirty John Valby? All performed at NJ's Hottest "A-room" Comedy Club - Uncle Vinnie's Comedy Club. First opened July 19, 2004 and has comedians seen on "Last Comic Standing", "Comedy Central", "Jay Leno", "Conan O'Brien", "Letterman Show", HBO and also comedians heard on "The Howard Stern Show", "The Scott Ferrall Show", "Opie & Anthony", "Sirius Raw Dog Channel" "XM Radio" & other major metropolitan radio stations

Uncle Vinnie’s Comedy Club of Pt. Pleasant Beach, NJ is owned by 2 brothers from Belleville, NJ, Dino and Jerry Ibelli. What started out as Ferrara’s Ristorante doing comedy one night a week as grown to one of the hottest comedy clubs in the tri-state area!!

Who we would like to sincerely thank?

We named the Comedy Club after you!! If it wasn’t for all your hard work and the values that you instilled in us growing up, we would not be as successful as we are today. You gave everything 100%, you took crap from no one, you did things your way, you commanded respect and you were always thinking. Those philosophies, as simple as they may be, is what makes for a successful business, no matter what “Corporate USA” has taught us over the years. You don’t learn that in college. We know you are looking down at us from up above laughing as much as we are while listening to the comedians!!!

Thank you for being there for us, the support and your love can never be matched!! The strength that you have shown over the past few years has made us grow even further and has thought us the true meaning of family and the important things in life. You are truly our backbone.

Growing up in Belleville during the late 70’s, 80’s and into the 90’s has provided us more value and knowledge than any textbook could give you. It is very hard to explain to people unless you are from Belleville or the surrounding towns. It provided a lot of special times, special memories, special people and a lot of knowledge about life. Growing up in this area has molded us into better people and we will always be honored to say where we came from.

Thanks for the introduction, but the customer had certain expectations and we owed it to them to be fulfilled. We found out no one would do it better than ourselves and it had to be under our control in order for our business to grow and our customers to be satisfied.

When I get a phone call from a house wife and she asks us “if we know what we are doing with a comedy club and why don’t you have this particular guy?” Well this guy was doing a Saturday night comedy night at a gentleman’s club. How good could he be? Do you really think he is funny, don’t people go to those places to see the dancers? The response was “oh do you think you are going to get Jackie “the Joke Man” Martling to perform at your place?” Well 7 performances by Jackie later, we say “told you so”!!

THE BOOKERS WHO THOUGHT WE WERE ONLY A RESTAURANT DOING A COMEDY NIGHT?

Guess what? WE ARE STILL HERE and WE ARE BOOKING OTHER ROOMS as well as COMEDIANS FOR PRIVATE AFFAIRS!!!! Oh did anyone tell you, we are opening the largest comedy club in the tri-state area in late August, who wishes they didn't piss us off now!!

THE 5 OTHER ESTABLISHMENTS STARTING TO DO COMEDY IN THE IMMEDIATE AREA WHEN WE STARTED AND THOUGHT THEY COULD JUMP ON THE BANDWAGON? Need I say more? They are all closed down!!
