GUIDE FOR PREPARATION OF MANUSCRIPTS IN KEK-PROCEEDINGS
Manuscripts should be typed on A-4 paper using a word processor with either font of “ Times New Roman ” or “ Century ” of the size 1 1 pt (about 44 lines on one page). All typing must be enclosed within an imaginary rectangle of size 150 mm by 230 mm (right and left margins are 30 mm, and top and bottom margins 30 mm).
The first page of each article must contain the title of the article, the name(s) of the author(s), the affiliation(s) of the author(s), the address(es) of the affiliation(s) (or contact address(es) of the authors). The corresponding author should be clarified with Asterisk (*) and his/her telephone number, fax number, e-mail address, etc. should be given at the bottom of the first page for reference. No abstract is necessary . Please ensure conformity with the following guide and also refer an example on the last of this guide: (1) The title sh ould be typed in bold CAPITAL LETTERS of the size 1 6 pt and centered 3 0 mm below the top of the A-4 sheet. (2) The name(s) of the author(s) to be one line below the title and centered on the page. (3) The affiliation of the author(s) to be centered on the next line under the name(s) of the author(s). (4) The address of the affiliation to be centered on the next line under the affiliation.
Paragraphs must be indented with 15 mm from the margin (totally 45 mm from the side of a sheet), exactly as has been done in this instruction sheet and the example. Secondary titles (or Chapter titles) of the text must be typed in bold CAPITAL LETTERS of the sizes 11 pt centered on the page. They must have a spacing of two empty lines above and one empty line below them. If necessary, the authors may divide the chapter into small sections. In this case, the section titles must be indented from the left margin and have no spacing below. Please insert a spacing of an empty line between sections.
All figures in the text must be confined within the imaginary rectangle of size 150 mm by 230 mm in proper relationship to the appropriate part of the text. Figure captions are requested to be placed blow the figures. A margin of about 10 mm should be left around the illustrations’ legends or captions. Tables must be centered on the page. If necessary, tables may be placed sideways. In this case, no text is to appear on the lines containing the table(s). All illustrations and tables must be referred to in the text. Equations and formula must be written clearly to avoid confusion to the reader. Formula must have one empty line above and one below them. They must be indented at least 45 mm from the left hand side of the page (15 mm from the margin).
All references must be cited in the text by superscript of Arabic numerals in parentheses in order of appearance. The references cited must be typed on the last part of the paper in numerical order. The literature cited should be limited to materials in the open literature. Abbreviations of journal names should follow the style of Chemical Abstracts Service Source Index. Please refer the examples.
