I. Call to order: Tonya Ditsworth Meeting was called to order at 7:04pm.

II. Approval of Minutes Kristin Louis Minutes from May 3, 2016 meeting were approved. Motion by Julie Denker, second by Kate Bell.

III. Treasurer’s Report Joe Sabbia The 2016/2017 budget was submitted and approved. The PTO has lost a great deal of money in PTO dues under the new district set up for payment of dues. Discussion was held about perhaps doing a Write a Check campaign. We will add $100 to the budget for Assemblies, as the school may request PTO funds for the Veteran’s Day Assembly. We still have a surplus, so the PTO hopes to look for funds requests after the Color Run concludes. If we have available funds, we will look to give funds to the HERO club.

IV. President’s Report Tonya Ditsworth The PTO was busy this summer setting up the PTO website, Membership Toolkit, a Facebook page and getting business sponsors for the PTO. Thank you to all who helped with these projects!

j) Staff Appreciation Janit Ramos, Justine Detzel The budget was lowered this year, so the committee won’t be able to do a staff treat for September or April. The committee only has 22 members, so the chairs will also ask for help from the Redshirts. Looking forward to a great year of fun for the staff!

k) Variety Show Angela Dowat

l) Wredling Wear Rosalinda Saucedo, Kim Drwal Another online spirit wear sale coming soon! The committee sold almost all the inventory they had during the Orientation and Materials Pick up days. The magnet was a big hit! m) Color Run Kate Bell The Color Run will be held on October 6, 2016 at 5:30pm! Please sign up to help! Kate has advertised the event in the district community backpack. Kate tried to get the elementary feeder schools involved, but no school was interested. Unfortunately, the vendor raised the prices for the t-shirts in the swag bag, so our profit margin will be smaller this year. The swag bag includes a t-shirt and a wristband. We are looking forward to a great event!

n) Summer Resource Fair Tracy Heilers This event will be held on February 13, 2017. If anyone knows of a potential business sponsor, please let them know about our website.
