SUBJECT: 2010-13 TIP Major Amendment 3 GROUP: AMATS Technical Advisory Committee DATE: January 12, 2012
BACKGROUND: The Technical Advisory Committee (TAC) released the 2010-13 Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) Amendment 3 for public review and comment on December 1, 2011. During that comment period, significant changes were made to the 2013 AMATS allocation in the draft Statewide Transportation Improvement Program (STIP). The overall allocation increased from approximately $20 million to $36 million. Those changes, as well as the other previously proposed changes in Amendment 3 are outlined below. This Amendment incorporates the changes needed to update program allocations, keep project schedules on track, and ensure funding for needed improvements.
Red text in the amendment tables indicates a change from the September 22, 2011 PC Approved TIP Amendment 2.
