3 Youth For Life Leadership Council Meeting: 7:30 - 8:30 p.m. at La Madeleine Café in Addison, 5290 Belt Line Rd., 75254 (between the Dallas North Tollway and Preston Road). The YFL Leadership Council is a group of adults interested in planning and chaperoning youth pro-life events throughout the year. We meet monthly to stay informed about pro-life current events and strategize on how to engage today’s youth in the fight to end abortion. Commitment level is monthly meetings plus events. March 4, 11, 18 Natural Family Planning Class in Spanish: 7:00-9:00 p.m., at St. Pius X Catholic Church, 3030 Gus Thomason Rd., Dallas 75228, in Room 401 of the Gym Building. This is a three-part class for married couples and engaged couples who would like to learn about natural family planning. 6 First Friday All-Night Adoration in prayer for the advancement of the culture of life will now be held at Mater Dei Parish, 2030 E. 7-14 Image of Mary Immaculate at Birth Choice: Birth Choice will have an image of Mary the Immaculate Conception in its chapel March 7 through March 14. This image is a reproduction of a painting of Mary as the Immaculate Conception that hangs above the main altar of the Basilica-Cathedral of Notre-Dame de Québec. It was painted in 1925 by Sister Mary of the Eucharist, a Sister of Charity of Québec, to replace the 18th-century painting destroyed during a fire at the cathedral in 1922. 8-10 Pro-Life Lobby Days in Austin with Youth For Life: Join Youth For Life to advocate for pro-life legislation at the Texas state capitol in Austin. Participants must be ages 14-17 and be in grades 9-12 for the 2014-15 school year. The group will depart for Austin on Sunday, attend Mass at St. Mary’s in Austin and enjoy a pro-life movie night, followed by a legislative training and lobbying at the capitol on Tuesday, and sight-seeing and returning to Dallas on Tuesday. Lodgings will be at a two story vacation rental (with young men and woman sleeping on separate floors). Female and male safe environment-cleared chaperones, age 21+, are also needed. March 8, 22 & April 12 Billings Ovulation Method of Natural Family Planning (Coppell): 1:30 p.m. at St. Ann Catholic Church, 180 Samuel Blvd., Coppell 75019. This is a three-part class. It’s easy to learn and is 99.5% effective. The Billings Method has great success in helping couples achieve pregnancy where their fertility has been in doubt. It monitors fertility and reproductive health, can enhance communication and the marital relationship, and is morally acceptable to our Catholic faith. 18 Texas Catholic Faith in Action Advocacy Day Briefing: 7:00 p.m. at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 3811 Oak Lawn, Dallas 75219. On March 24, 2015, Texas Bishops and Catholics from throughout the state will join together for the 2015 Catholic Faith in Action Advocacy Day at the Capitol in Austin to advocate for policies promoting life, justice, charity, and religious freedom. All participants in Advocacy Day are encouraged to attend this legislative briefing which will provide the most up-to-date information on the legislative priorities of the Texas Bishops and logistics for participation in Advocacy Day. 19 Feast Day of St. Joseph, the Just Man who had the role of protecting the Holy Family, embodies the example for all fathers to follow. The lack of willingness to truly father an unborn child is frequently the cause of abortion. Honoring St. Joseph and teaching the faithful his example can inspire men to carry out their proper role in defending life.

21 Pure by Choice Rally: 3:30 - 9:45 p.m. at Nolan Catholic High School Arena, 4501 Bridge St., Fort Worth 76103. Pure by Choice is a chastity rally for 8th-12th grade students. Keynote speakers are Matt Fradd and Kara Klein. Matt Fradd is a Catholic apologist, speaker, and gifted evangelist. He experienced a profound conversion at World Youth Day in Rome in 2000. As a missionary in Canada and Ireland, Matt has proclaimed the Gospel to over ten thousand teens and young adults. Matt has also served the Church through full-time lay ministry in Australia, Ireland, Canada and Texas. Kara Klein is a Christian singer/songwriter, worship leader, and inspirational speaker. Through her gift of song and storytelling Kara calls people of all ages to embrace, fall in love with, and rediscover the joy of life in Christ, and to believe that life is a glorious gift from God that is truly worth living.

24 Texas Catholic Faith in Action Advocacy Day: Texas Bishops, including Dallas Auxiliary Bishop Doug Deshotel, will join Catholics from across the Lone Star State for the 2015 Texas Catholic Faith in Action Advocacy Day at the Capitol in Austin. This bi-annual rally is hosted by the Texas Bishops to promote the Church's values of life, justice, charity, and religious freedom to members of the 84th Texas Legislature. The Bishops and event participants will address a broad range of diverse issues including advance directives reform, school choice tax credit scholarships, payday lending, Medicaid expansion, and abortion facilities regulation. In cooperation with the Texas Catholic Conference, the Diocese of Dallas is training and organizing the Dallas delegation for the 2015 Advocacy Day. Bus transportation will be available to Austin.

31 Terri’s Day: This year marks the 10th Anniversary of the death of Terri Schiavo who was killed by court-ordered dehydration in 2005. The Terri Schiavo Life & Hope Network has designated this day as the "International Day of Prayer and Remembrance for Terri Schindler Schiavo and All of Our Vulnerable Brothers and Sisters". This year's Terri's Day National Memorial Mass will be celebrated on March 31st at 5:00 p.m. by Archbishop Charles Chaput of the Archdiocese of Philadelphia at the Chapel of the Cathedral Basilica of Saints Peter & Paul located at 18th Street & Benjamin Franklin Parkway in Philadelphia.
